Accomac – Friends of the eastern coast of Public Library three items rifando is good for all other activities sponsored by the Arts Council of the East Coast this season.

Cape Charles – The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Ocean Cove seafood are holding an oyster roast on Saturday, November 21, at 2 hours at 611 Mason Ave Cape Charles, the former building of South-East Expeditions, to benefit research for juvenile diabetes.

Machipongo – The Great Machipongo Clam Shack in Nassawadox is organizing a one-person show of works by Helen M. Bongiovanni.
Bongiovanni is a self taught artist who works in various media.
His work is displayed throughout the month of November.

Eastville – Vendors are needed for the Northampton High School Palooza Festival on Saturday, December 5, 10-2 To participate, please contact Sheryl Newman at 757-678-5795. The rate table is 10 percent of the sales that day.
Soup-Chili Cook-off participants are also popular. As a non-profit group would like to make money on the NHS Palooza holidays, call 757-678-5795 Newman. We sell the fish soup and chili for the pint or quarter.
Holiday food drive started
Eastville – The Parks Department and the Northampton County Department of Recreation and the Northampton County Department of Social Services takes in 2009 Thanksgiving Food Drive. Boxes for donations will all Northampton County Public Schools and Broadwater Academy and Cape Charles Christian Academy.
Collections began November 2 and will last until November 20.
